You heard it here first. It’s officially crab season in Maryland on the Eastern Bay.
We’re eating them, catching them and enjoying all that the season has to offer.
Summer delights are not limited to crabs. We are also loving our outdoor shower …
… bike rides …
… painted toes …
… swimming …
… and beachy, barrel-curled hair. My stylist recommended I stop fighting my natural waves and instead try one of those new barrel curling irons. Totally copied Shana’s technique on Ain’t No Mom Jeans. I couldn’t have said it better myself, from her blog: “Despite my propensity to snort whenever a curling iron is mentioned, I have managed to master come up with some moderately beachy waves. And it only cost me two different curling irons (OMG!!) and 8 burns. So, you know. TOTALLY WORTH IT.” I was also inspired to do a home “lob” haircut almost immediately after having my hair professionally cut. Also, note to self. In the future, forgo all upscale organic wooden toys in favor of the 99 cent dollar store ones that kids love WAY more.
Oh, and did I mention the CRABS?
