Kent Fort Farm is a real working waterfront farm on the Eastern Bay, and you can find us there on any given Sunday, having arrived by boat: to pick peaches, buy farm fresh eggs, pet the animals, visit with the owners, you name it. Pinky Tuscadero herself is the one who was riding in the Bjorn last time. They change so much in the first year!
So Peachfest. If you haven’t been, you must attend. Owner Steve Mason told us about a thousand people show up when the weather is good. More on Kent Fort Farm here.
Come for the peach picking, games, crafters selling their wares, hayrides and pit beef … but stay for the peach ice cream – YUM. (It sold out last year!) “Tractors” and other heavy machinery are always a highlight with the kiddos (and their Dads)!
We love “meeting” the chicks … that will become the hens … who lay the eggs we’ll eat during the coming year.
