I was able to get there twice this summer, once with a group of women (yay! Perfect girls day!) and then again on a double date by jetski late in the season.
Located at 1200 Thompson Creek Road in Stevensville Maryland, the working waterfront vineyard and winery boasts an attractive tasting room and waterfront patio.

It’s $10 to taste 10 wines, and you’re encouraged to BYO cheese, crackers, crudites etc. (I brought some dark chocolate which promptly melted into fondue and spilled all over my jeans). We consumed a few bottles on the spot, and took several bottles home.
The only problem this wino wine neophyte had was remembering which was my favorite vino the second time I visited. (Can someone jot that down for me next time?)
It’s really a gorgeous spot on Cox Creek, the farm is historic and reminiscent of New England, Mark Cascia and his wife are lovely and know so much about their craft. A good percentage of the grapes are actually grown on site, but some are imported from California.
